Storyboard for school assignment:
Observe a scene and illustrate it in flat versions of local colours. Based on your colour flats, create three different, imagined lighting situations (ie. direction, hard vs soft lighting, light temperature/colour, rim lighting, etc.). ​

I drew the porch in my backyard because I felt the form would be easily illustrated when the light/shadow were added. I focused primarily on using different types of light colour/temperature to evoke different moods with each study. The sunrise is familiar and calm, while the green lighting is strange, and mysterious.
