Inspired by a song lyric from "Teeth" by 5 Seconds of Summer, I created an animated gif with Photoshop and After Effects. It shows life, as a beating heart, sustaining things to grow and regrow.

I used Photoshop to get a looser painterly quality to the drawing, to avoid the heart being too realistic and gory, or too flat and graphic. This style is a nice in-between to show the imperfections of life and nature.
